Washington, D.C., —  Washington-based public relations and communications firm Clyde Group today announced that Shannon Murphy has joined the firm as their Director of Healthcare. Bringing expertise in global public relations and communications counsel, working across pharmaceutical, medical device, non-profit and hospital spaces, Shannon will strengthen the firm’s communications efforts for healthcare companies. Additionally, Clyde announced the hiring of Jack Mallory as an Associate. Jack, who brings experience in corporate, financial and crisis communications, will support the firm’s work across education, finance and technology. Most recently, Shannon worked with the team at Burson-Marsteller, where she supported branded and unbranded work for global pharmaceutical companies. She was instrumental in supporting Medtronic, a global medical device company, in reaching data milestones for five global clinical trials and publication of each in the New England Journal of Medicine.
