WASHINGTON, D.C.—April 22, 2021—Today, Clyde Group announced the hiring of two seasoned communications executives to lead and further bolster its expanding healthcare practice. Lisa Josephy, a 20-year veteran of healthcare communications, will be the practice lead of healthcare for Clyde Group. She is joined by Dominic Hawkins as vice president. Lisa and Dominic will leverage their decades of health communications experience to provide strategic support for Clyde Group’s growing roster of healthcare clients. Lisa brings her experience leading award-winning communications campaigns on behalf of a wide variety of pharmaceutical and biotech brands, including prescription medications, OTC treatments, and medical devices. Lisa’s expertise spans product launches, large-scale patient education initiatives, HCP engagement campaigns, data and regulatory milestones, issues management, advocacy relations, celebrity and influencer partnerships, and more. In her prior role at GCI Health, Lisa led national and global campaigns for some of the world’s leading companies including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, Amgen, Celgene, and AbbVie. Prior to her career in communications, Lisa was a healthcare policy consultant working with the federal government to help develop patient communication and relationship-building strategies. Dominic Hawkins - vice president. Dominic is a communications strategist experienced in creating and implementing public affairs campaigns, high-profile events, and media relations strategies for top corporate and consumer brands. Prior to Clyde Group, Dominic led external communications for Deloitte’s priority regions and advised executive visibility on topics such as diversity, equity and inclusion, life sciences, and healthcare. Dominic is an ANA Certified Marketing Professional. Previously, Dominic spent 5 years as a director at SKDK, providing strategic communications counsel to clients such as Al Sharpton & National Action Network, NAACP, The Nelson Mandela Foundation, Audible, Mercedes-Benz, and more.
